Thandai (eggless) Cake Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • Milk
  • Thandai powder
  • All purpose flour
  • Sugar
  • Baking powder
  • Salt
  • Safflower oil
  • Rose water
  • Vinegar
  • Sliced almonds and rose petals for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Warm the milk and stir in thandai powder
  2. Cool milk until room temperature
  3. Mix dry ingredients - flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
  4. Whisk safflower oil and sugar; add thandai milk, vinegar, and rose water.
  5. Combine dry & wet: mix until smooth batter forms.
  6. Pour batter into loaf pan, top with almonds and rose petals.
  7. Bake at 350°f for 45-50 minutes.
  8. Cool in pan, then slice and serve.
