Usage Tips
- Usage: Ideal for most Indian daily cooking styles thanks to its high smoke point and rich flavour. Perfect for tadkas, shallow and deep frying, and even for drizzling over groundnut or various chutneys & salads as well to enhance taste and aroma.
- Shelf Life: We recommend purchasing fresh oil every month, as our oils are produced daily to ensure maximum freshness. Over time (after 2–3 months), the acid value naturally increases, which may affect the taste and quality. For example, just as curd becomes sour after a few days due to rising acidity, oil too undergoes similar natural changes.
The shelf life of this product is 6 months from the date of manufacture as per the Norms.
Traditional Extraction (Ghani Method)
- "Ghani": This is a traditional method, also called cold-pressed, where oil is extracted by crushing the seeds.
- Preservation of Qualities: By avoiding preservatives, chemicals & solvents, the oil retains its:
- Natural Taste, Colour & Aroma: The authentic, Nutty Flavour of the groundnuts.
- Nutrients and Antioxidants: Vitamins, healthy fats, and other natural compounds remain largely intact.
- Unrefined State: The oil is usually minimally filtered (just filtered through cloth) and does not undergo Chemical Processes like bleaching, Solvent Wash (hexane), deodorising, or adding preservatives.
